DeLand to Celebrate July 4th with a Bang! Announcing FREE Concert & Fireworks!
The City of DeLand will celebrate Independence Day with a family friendly festival in the newly renovated Earl Brown Park on the beautiful Amphitheater lawn. The City of DeLand Firecracker Festival and fireworks display will include live music from popular local and national entertainers, as well a patriotic fireworks display, food and beverage booths, in addition to a Kids Zone with games and face painting. This exciting July 4th event is hosted by the City of DeLand and powered by Daytona Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep-Ram, and presented by 93.1 Coast Country and Gander Mtn. Outdoors.
Admission to the 2015 City of DeLand Firecracker Festival is free and the festivities begin at 5:00PM. 93.1 Coast Country personality Dallas Reese will start the entertainment at 6:00PM with his lively piano and vocals. Headliner, Nashville Singer/Song Writer and Central Florida Native, Johnny Bulford takes the stage at 7:30PM. Bulford will be joined by American Idol Alumni and Semi-Finalist, Janell Wheeler, as they debut as Country Music Duo, LOCKHART. The fireworks display will take place at approximately 9:15 PM. The concert is lawn seating, guests are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for the show.
“The City of Deland is very excited about bringing the Firecracker Festival back to Earl Brown Park. After a long hiatus Earl Brown Park will once again be full of activities, music and fireworks for the Fourth of July,” said City of DeLand Parks & Recreation Director, Rick Hall. “After making a significant commitment to the renovation of Earl Brown Park, City Officials are looking forward to seeing the park thriving and this is the perfect event for the community to come out and enjoy a fun filled evening.”
